Harvard Law School student organizations may apply for support for their talks, conferences, and other academic events and projects related to law and East Asia.
We highly encourage students to consult with EALS early in the planning process, well before submitting an application for funding.
Applications are accepted and awarded on a rolling basis throughout the year. Funding is limited and awarded on a competitive basis. Please submit your application as soon as possible, and at least one month before your event.
Funding is intended for academic purposes. Funding may be used, for example, to help cover reasonable domestic travel costs for a guest speaker. A limited portion of funding may be used for meals if they are part of an academic event (e.g., a light lunch provided during a talk). Funding cannot be used for social events or professional networking events.
