Opportunities to engage with East Asia include: taking courses; serving as a research assistant or teaching fellow for EALS faculty; pursuing independent research projects; studying abroad; spending winter term abroad doing research or an independent clinical; participating in summer internships; getting involved in a student organization connected to Asia (e.g. Harvard Asia Law Society, Harvard Law School China Law Association, Korean Association of Harvard Law School); joining the annual spring break HALS Delegation Trip to a city in Asia; and attending the many events hosted by EALS and the renowned Asia-related centers and programs across Harvard University, including the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, where Professor Mark Wu serves as Faculty Director.
